Drill: Three Round Fadeback Drill

This drill was created by Dave Spaulding, he uses it as a warm up drill for all of his handgun classes. This drill consists of shooting three shot groups at 3,5,7,10,12,15 ,20 and 25 yards using 3"x5" note cards. There is no time limit, this is purely an accuracy drill. The shooter begins at 3 yards and works out from there. At three yards and five yards experienced shooters can expect to have most holes touching. Once the shooter reaches seven yards, shot groups tend to open up. Once the shooter reaches 15 yards, most factory front sights will cover the whole note card. This makes shots much tougher past this distance since there is a lot of guesswork involved.
