Equipment: Ameriglo Hackathorn Sights

The Ameriglo Hackathorn sights are a set of sights designed by Ken Hackathorn to do exactly what the eyes need to do when using a handgun: they draw your eye to the front sight.

When looking down this set of sights, your eye is naturally drawn to the high visibility ring that surrounds the glowing tritium vial. The outer ring is in safety orange, and is very visible in nearly any light. The rear sight is serrated to limit glare and is offered in a "U-notch" as well as a traditional square notch option. Further, the rear sight can be purchased as a 2 dot or "i-dot" night sight option without the high visibility ring to keep your focus on the front sight.

These sights are extremely useful, even though it seems to be a hardware solution for a software problem.
