Book Review: The Law of Self Defense, 3rd Edition, Andrew Branca

The Law of Self Defense was first published in 1998. It is a great value for the money, especially at that point in time there weren’t any good guides for what to do after a shooting. In his third edition, published in April of 2016, Andrew Branca breaks down the justice system and explains each part in an easy to understand explanation of how this could affect the reader. Andrew Branca walks the reader through some recent shootings to show how the legal system took a toll on their life and analyses the cases to explain what the defendant could have done better to help their case. This book is packed with recent cases such as the George Zimmerman case. Before closing, he also walks the reader through his “say little” approach when someone has been involved in a shooting. When followed, this will help the law-abiding citizen from wrongfully incriminating themselves. An e-book of The Law of Self Defense can be found at the Amazon Kindle store for $9.99 or a paper back can be purchased at Andrew Branca’s website, lawofselfdefense.com for $24.99
