Recently I had an opportunity to use a Dilligent Defense Enticer-STi. This is a 30 caliber supressor built to handle upt o 300 Winchester Magnum pressures.
Working with firearms every day, I am familiar with the Enticer series of suppressors. This particular version is the titanium version in a standard length. They also make a steel version as well as both materials in a long version.
While the test consisted only of short barrel (8.5" barrel) 300 blackout ammo, we did use both supersonic and subsonic ammunition. It suppressed the noise quite well with subsonics and supersonic were only loud under the metal roof of the shooting position.
The suppressor got fairly hot to the touch after around 10 shots. I have seen this happen before, but often it takes more shot a to heat up a stainless suppressor. Being titanium, this supressor should only be heated up to 1000°F. I am told (but have not been able to confirm) that this is roughly equivalent to 3 magazines of 5.56 fired full automatic. Given the pressure and gas of the cartridge, as well as the rate of fire, I don't think this suppressor has much to worry about.
Definitely take a look aslt supressors if you are interested! They are remarkably interesting from an engineering standpoint and are wildly useful to many shooters.
