Ankle Carry

Ankle carry is a limited use carry position, but can still be a useful carry method for some. Office work can be one of the most likely situation is which ankle carry could be a viable option.
Pros:
Ankle carry is very discreet when wearing full length pants, because unlike jackets and sweaters, pants don't generally get taken off in polite company. Also, the weight (and bulk) is in a place most people won't be looking. If true concealment is a factor, ankle carry can do quite well in filling the role.
Cons:
One of the cons of the ankle position is having limited options for carry. Ankle guns must be small and light, lest they be very obvious or cause an unnatural gait. Another concern can be access. To access an ankle gun, you will need to bring your hand to the ankle. This requires taking a knee or a deep side lunge to reach the gun. Neither of these options are particularly fast.
For those struggling to find a way to carry in an environment that includes suit coats, or something similar, ankle carry can be a great option. Whatever you do, I always recommend a quality holster, for your comfort and for the security of the pistol.
Be safe, be well.
