Gear Review: Rock River Arms AR-15 Triggers

Rock River Arms is an AR-15 manufacturer located in Illinois. Thier claim to fame is guaranteed accuracy out of their rifles. Not many companies will offer an accuracy guarantee, bit Rock River body does, and stands behind it.

The Rock River trigger is a great addition to the AR-15. I have dropped quite a few of their 2 stage triggers into my rifles, and will continue to do so. Their 2 stage triggers, especially their 4.5 pound trigger, is an excellent update to the gritty, crunch mil spec trigger found on many standard rifles. (I get it, the company doesn't want to spend the money on a nice trigger you may not want, but come on, some of these are just terrible.)

The 4.5 pound gives me enough take-up in the first stage and enough weight in the second to be confident in using it for self defense, as well as giving me a very good interface with the trigger. This allows me, the shooter to be more accurate.

The trigger also uses standard, mil spec hammer and trigger springs, making it user serviceable.

A good trigger can change how well you shoot. The trigger is the interface with the shooter and the gun, so why not upgrade it?
