Fanny Pack Carry

The fanny pack has seen a resurgence in popularity recently. (The 80s are back baby!) But aside form being a great way to keep your wallet and phone on you with athleisure clothing, it can be a great way to keep a firearm on your person in an clothing.

The fanny pack today is worn by both men and women, and offers a great way to carry firearm discreetly, but it does take some practice and some planning.

Negatives:

• Bag can be the target of the attack

• Bag is slower to access

• Bag MUST stay on your person

• Can be worn with any outfit

• Bag can carry other stuff

• Is so common, it is often ignored by general public

• No printing issues

As always, find an option that specifically works with your concealed carry equipment. The options from Vertx are some of my favorites, but there are lots of great options out there.

The off body carry bag has some concerns, but it is a great way to carry if on your person is not possible. Because of the explosion of popularity, and common method of carry being in the center of the chest, this method has be come a lot more useful!
