Ed Monk - Last Resort Firearms Training

Ed Monk runs the training company Last Resort Firearms Training, and is a special trainer in the space. While his training is firearms related, he has made a significant dent in teaching people the realities that surround active killers. His perspective is unique, as he has been in the US Army, as well as a police officer and a teacher as well. He has seen what a military response would be like, how police officers are limited, and how schools are sometimes uninformed about the real dangers an active killer poses.

I took Ed Monks class at Tac Con a few years back, and his seminar is well worth taking. His seminar was a 4 hour crash course taking us through multiple active killer events. He outlines how the killers can get around security measures, when the response time starts and how long it takes, and what is actually required to stop the threat.
