This drill is a combo drill with the carbine and a transition to the handgun. This is a crazy fast, burn it down drill, by Mike Seeklander. But in true Seeklander fashion, there is a fair accuracy standard. The only saving grace is that at least its fairly low round count... good luck friends.

Target:

IDPA, or 8" chest, and 6x6 inch head

Prep:

Start with 6 rounds in the AR rifle, and 6 rounds in an extra magazine on the belt or pocket. Have the handgun loaded with 6 rounds and holstered.

Drill:

At the signal, raise the rifle from low ready, fire 6 rounds at the body, reload fire 6 more rounds from the rifle. Then transition to the pistol, and fire 6 rounds at the head.

Time:

10 seconds. This is pass/fail. If you miss a shot, the drill is failed.

Oof.
