Frank Garcia founded Universal Shooting Academy after helping train Iraqi military counterparts in the early 2000s. His training expanded to US Special Operations and SWAT teams across the US.

Frank Garcia's Dot Drill is not an easy task as written. The drill is a simple (not easy) 36 round drill.

Target: 6 - 2" dots (printable)

Distance: 7 yards (you can start closer if you need to)

Par Time: 5 seconds

Drill: At the buzzer, draw and fire 6 shots at the first 2" dot. Record the number of hits. Shots fired after the 5 second par time are not counted.

If you need to, start at the 5 or 3 yard line with this drill. Alternatively, you can start with the gun in hand if you wish. Remember, the total score is out of 36, so once you get all 36, it is time to move back to the next distance.

Good luck and be well!
