Todd Louis Green, an avid trainer and firearms enthusiast, ran a website called pistol-training.com discovered this drill created by David Blinder. His love for this drill spurred the printable target we are familiar with today.

This drill is simple, but not easy. Most of my favorite drills are like that. The set of skills start with slow fire, move into draws, reloads and transitions. There is even a bit of single handed shooting.

This drill will require 50 rounds of ammunition, and should be performed at 3 yards until you can shoot a perfect score every time. Then move back to 5 yards, then 7 then 10 (though I don't personally know anyone who can clean it at 10 yards consistently). The key is consistency. Many of my favorite courses of fire are simpley but require you to do everything perfectly.

Have fun, and be well, friends.
