Drill: 30 Round Self Defense Drill

Ken Hackathorn has come up with another great assessment for your concealed carry skills. This one is 30 rounds and is shot from the 5 yaed line out to the 15 yard line.
Target: IDPA/USPSA, or 8 inch circle target for the body and 4 inch circle for the head (approximately the 8 ring of a B8 and just over the 10 ring for the head)
STAGE 1:
5 yards, 1.5 second par time, from the LOW READY, fire 1 round to the head. Repeat 3x.
STAGE 2:
5 yards, 2 second par time, from the HOLSTER, draw and fire 1 round to the head. Repeat 3x.
STAGE 3:
5 yards, 2 second par time, from the LOW READY, STRONG HAND ONLY, fire 2 rounds to the body. Repeat 2x.
STAGE 4:
7 yards, 2 second par time, facing 90° to the left of the target, FROM THE HOLSTER, draw and fire 2 shots to the body. 1x.
STAGE 5:
7 yards, 2 second par time, facing 90° right of the target, FROM THE HOLSTER, draw and fire 2 shots to the body. 1x.
STAGE 6:
7 yards, 2 second par time, FROM THE HOLSTER, (facing target), draw and fire 2 rounds to the body. 1x.
STAGE 7:
7 yards, 4 second par time, LOW READY, WHILE BACKING UP TO 10-12 YARDS, fire 3 shots to the body. Repeat 2x.
STAGE 8:
10 yards, 3 second par time,
beginning with gun on target and
round in chamber, change magazine
and fire one shot to body. Repeat 2x.
STAGE 9:
10 yards, 3 second par time,
beginning with gun on target and
slide locked back, change magazine
and fire one shot to body. 1x.
STAGE 10:
15 yards, 2.5 second par time,
from the HOLSTER, draw and fire 1
round to the body. Repeat 5x.
Scoring:
5 points possible per round. A or -0 zone is 5 points, the B zone is 3 points and the C or -1 zone is 1 point. Total possible is 150 points.
