Belt Selection

Tip:

Belts are often overlooked in the selection of concealed weapon gear. We often spend much more time in selecting the holster, flashlights etc, but very little time checking into what we require of a belt.

Good gear:

A good belt will support significant weight (handgun) without folding, sagging or flexing outward. A good belt will also not stretch upward when you are drawing a firearm from a holster. While many belts seem to meet these criteria, belts not specifically designated as “gun belts” may also break down more quickly. Finally, a dedicated gun belt is usually offered in a size that matches the clips or loops on your holster.

A few good options are: Volund Gearworks, Ares Gear and Galco Gunleather.

If you are interested, there is a great article on belts here here.

Always be safe and remember the 4 gun safety rules!
